Paris Plages 2018
Paris City Beaches
Are you visiting Paris this summer and suddenly miss beaches and refreshing waters? Paris invites you to enjoy its artificial city beaches, Paris Plages! In 2018, the artificial beaches will be open from July 7 to September 2 with many attractions on the Voie Georges Pompidou, the Hôtel de Ville and the Bassin de la Villette, where a huge swimming-pool awaits you! There you will find green lawns, sun umbrellas, deckchairs, palm trees, cultural and sports activities, and, of course, swimming. First organized in 2002, the Paris Plages event offers locals and visitors free places to relax and take advantage of these hot summer days. For an amazing stay in Paris we offer you the most elegant Luxury Apartments that we have distributed throughout the city so you can enjoy comfort, design and security that BE APARTMENT provides you.
1) On the right bank, in the Voie Georges Pompidou, under the palm trees, Paris Plages has prepared hundreds of deckchairs to relax in a beautiful environment with picnic tables, refreshment stalls, ice-cream makers, tai-chi sessions, dance workshops and even a free library.
2) As a part of Paris Plages, the esplanade in front of the City Hall will become a place visit and enjoy the Festival FNAC and then a running track as part of Paris application for the 2024 Olympics!
3) Solférino harbor, the Invalides (Seine river left bank). Paris Plages activities are set on this side of the Seine river too, with dozens of deckchairs to relax, picnic tables, refreshment and ice-cream stalls so you can party as if on a beach!
4) Once again in 2018, Paris-Plages turns the Bassin de la Villette into a beach resort. Deckchairs, fountains, animations and shows will be on the top. This year, Paris-Plages will set a bathing area up in the Bassin de la Villette located on the Quai de la Loire and 3 pools will be open daily for free every day from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.!
