The Spanish Grand Prix, first contested over 100 years ago, is one of the oldest motor races in the world. Since 1967, it has retained a spot on the Formula 1 calendar at a variety of venues including Jarama, Jerez and since 1991, the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya outside Barcelona. Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya is also regularly used for testing sessions in the F1 off-season. The current race contract is in place until 2019.

The Barcelona Grand Prix F1 will take place on the Circuit de Catalunya, which is 12 miles (20km) northeast of the city center of Barcelona. It is located in a small town called Montmeló. The date of the final race is 14th of May 2017, Sunday. The practice and qualifying sessions will be held on Saturday, May 13th before the big race on Sunday 14 May 2017. So you can enjoy the event all weekend and get to see Barcelona!

The best drivers in the world, such as Lewis Hamilton, Sebastian Vettel, Fernando Alonso, Carlos Sainz or Nico Rosberg will participate this year in the race to give to the amateurs an indescribable show. This will be the Grand Prix, even more beautiful and faster, and hopefully more exciting. Formula 1 faces in a few months the biggest change of rules in recent years , which promises to make cars more visual, faster and also make Formula 1 more fun. The cars will be amazing, but beyond being more or less attractive, it is worth noting that they will also be at least 3 seconds faster than last season. Formula 1 is progressing and the most important thing of these new cars allow us to see F1 with less difference between teams.

The ticket prices range from €120 for a three-day ticket for standing room on the grass area, up to € 450 for a three-day ticket in the grandstand. There are one-day tickets for two grandstands from Friday to Sunday. 

• On Thursday you can visit the Pit Lane and watch the mechanics at work.
• On Friday, you can take advantage of all the grandstands (except C and E).
• With all tickets you can attend all public areas of the circuit.
• At all grandstands and the grass areas there are huge screens where you can watch the race when the cars are not driving past you.
• During the race weekend, you can receive a radio broadcast at the race track on 94.30FM.
