The Design Market returns to Madrid on 6th and 7th of May even more rebellious and colorful than ever with its third edition and new national and international designers. La Bien Querida and five more music groups will be on the stage of Aperol Spritz Live to complete the day of the most important design market in Spain. The summer is coming! To celebrate it, 160 designers will meet at Plastic Fever Design Market with an explosive edition, full of rebelliousness and gaudy colors inspired by the aesthetics of the 90s.
The Design Market recieves more than 400 proposals from various designers to participate in some of its editions. "We try to make the show as attractive as possible for both the final audience and the professional buyers that accompany each edition," explains Miguel Ángel de Acevedo, the curator of the Design Market.
During two days, on May 6 and 7, the Plastic Fever will give you the possibility of buying new clothes from Caquilala Shop, unisex designs by Pitágora, famous sustainable backpacks by Hemper, fun pots by Aunt Pua or keychains by Tiny Heaven, an ode to sincerity. For summer lovers, there are bikinis by Jamimas, footwear by Soleil or Vampire Pig and crazy and fresh design brought from Almeria by Lausett.
The stage will resonate in the interior area of Design Market with 6 concerts scheduled throughout the weekend that will make you dance and sing non-stop, at the Plastic Fever the music is fully incorporated into an event held by the best of national design and a wide range of leisure and gastronomy. The concerts given on Saturday are: La Bien Querida - 12 pm. Cintia Lund - 4 pm. Grushenka - 7 pm. The Sunday concerts are: Young Forest - 12 pm, Owl Captain - 4 p.m.
The gastronomic offer will be brought by 16 food-trucks: Mexican, American, Japanese, Italian cuisine, as well as ice cream, Valencian paella and even "wrinkled potatoes". It is going to be a perfect plan to do with your friends, couples, with your pet and even for you to celebrate in a different way the Mother´s Day.
