The Festivities of San Isidro offer a unique opportunity to know the most authentic Madrid. They are celebrated every year around May 15, when the Chulapos and Goyescos (people dressed in the typical costumes of Madrid region) go out to have fun and eat, all in honor of San Isidro. The Pradera de San Isidro is the place where the authentic Feast of San Isidro is lived during the morning of May 15th. The area is full of "chulapos", music and many people wanting to have fun. La Pradera is located next to the Manzanares River, in front of the Vicente Calderón football stadium.
